In the season 13 premiere, the journey toward the Canadian culinary dream begins as nine chefs from across the country enter the Top Chef Canada kitchen. In a surprising twist, these nine chefs are joined by three previously eliminated chefs returning for another shot at their dream of being crowned Canada's Top Chef. In the first Quickfire challenge, the Chefs put their raw talent to the test and create raw dishes – without the use of any heat. Then, in teams led by the returning Chef captains, they collaborate on menus inspired by the Canadian landscape, with each menu showcasing ingredients from the land, sea, gardens, and forests.
