That means they also have to hold themselves that much more accountable for every minute, every rep, every calorie, every challenge, every pound if they intend to stay any longer. Just when you think they've been pushed to the brink, think again. This burn is going to turn into an inferno.

It's the last week on the ranch for the final four contestants, and time to celebrate just how far they've come on their weight loss journeys. They'll return to the Los Angeles Coliseum where their journey began for a challenge requiring them to put all of their lost weight back on and drop it incrementally at 16 stops as they did each week, while running up and down the Coliseum steps. The winner gets a cash prize plus a valuable weigh-in advantage when the stakes have never been higher. The finalists also watch emotional journey packages with their trainers, revisiting the memorable milestones of their time at the ranch. 'Today' show lifestyle and fitness correspondent Jenna Wolfe visits as guest trainer, leading the contestants while pregnant through an intense, 'no excuses' workout, while Bob Harper puts the other three trainers - Dolvett, Jennifer and Jessie - through an intense workout of his own. And season 15 contestant Ruben Studdard appears in a 'Challenge America' segment before the final weigh-in at the ranch reveals the three finalists of season 16 who will be competing for the grand prize of $250,000 and the title of 'The Biggest Loser.'.

The contestant have made it to the fan-favorite makeover week in an exciting episode that also brings game-changing surprises. Fashion expert Tim Gunn and celebrity hairstylist Ken Paves return to create more inspirational transformations, working their makeover magic on the final four ranch contestants as well as the two eliminated players at Comeback Canyon. After the ranch contestants get incredible new looks, they are reunited with their loved ones on a downtown rooftop overlooking Los Angeles. It's a magical night that also features a surprise live performance from popular singer/songwriter Gavin DeGraw, performing his hit solo, 'Fire.' Meanwhile, the made-over Comeback Canyon contestants are treated to emotional reunions with their loved ones separately, 15 weeks after leaving home. And the stakes have never been higher at Comeback Canyon, because this week's weigh-in winner will be joining trainer Bob Harper in his long-awaited, surprise return to the ranch, bringing his Comeback Canyon champ to join the competition. And that's not the only surprise awaiting the contestants at this week's weigh-in.

The Kauai adventure continues for the remaining five contestants, who tackle their fears head on this week. Dolvett encourages one player to push past his fear and join him rapelling down a waterfall, while Jessie takes another on a rope-swinging adventure in the jungle. Then it's time for a fun, Hawaiian-style challenge, a Lacrosse-inspired obstacle course with coconuts that will reward the winner with a one-pound advantage on the scale. Meanwhile, at Comeback Canyon, two players also have to face their fears in a balancing challenge 25 feet up in the air before a weigh-in sends one player home for good. Then the contestants leave Kauai and head back to the ranch, where a red line at the weigh-in determines which player is eliminated.

In the first of two special Hawaii episodes, the remaining six contestants are off on the adventure of a lifetime to the breathtaking island of Kauai. There they'll continue the competition and do everything they can to avoid falling below this week's red line. They start their trip at the scenic Waimea Canyon State Park before the trainers put them through an intense workout at Polihale beach. Then, in a Hawaii-style challenge, they all hop into kayaks and paddle out in the ocean to retrieve a bag of puzzle pieces. The finished puzzle reveals the prize for the winner - an incredible, private helicopter tour of Kauai. Later, one trainer and a contestant face their fears together about the open water and try snorkeling, before all the contestants arrive at the beach weigh-in in outrigger canoes to determine who is going home - and who gets to stay in paradise for another week!

In their first challenge as singles, the players must cross an obstacle course, including a mud pit, and complete a memory puzzle at the end for the greatest prize of all at the ranch - immunity. Then trainers surprise the final seven contestants with heartwarming videos of support from players, coaches and family members back home, fueling their fire to keep working hard at the ranch. Later, after a fiercely competitive week at Comeback Canyon, trainer Bob Harper sends one player home for good, while the ranch weigh-in results in a tearful elimination as the contestants vote to send another player packing.

This week is all about teamwork as the eight remaining contestants must work together to lose at least 50 pounds collectively so everyone can remain at the ranch for another week. If they don't reach that goal, someone will be going home. A sand pile challenge that requires a big team effort gives the players the opportunity to win a substantial weigh-in advantage. Later, while hiking with their trainers, the contestants take time to celebrate their accomplishments and vocalize their intentions as they move forward on their weight loss journeys. Meanwhile, at Comeback Canyon, two fierce competitors vie for the chance to stay one more week with trainer Bob Harper. One competitor from Comeback Canyon is ultimately sent home, while the ranch scale reveals whether the eight contestants there are safe for another week.

Week 10 on the ranch comes with a big surprise, when the original red, white and blue teams are disbanded, and contestants have to form all new teams decided by chance. Moving on to another trainer proves to be a difficult adjustment, especially for one player who struggles to accept the change. Then it's time for a cooking challenge with celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito, who judges which team makes the healthiest and tastiest dish and awards the winning team a valuable one pound advantage on the scale. Later, one trainer bids a tearful goodbye to their player who falls below the red line, while the eliminated contestants at Comeback Canyon face off on the scale to see who will spend another week with trainer Bob Harper

It's the halfway point in the competition and contestants get the exciting news that three NFL legends - Super Bowl champs Michael Irvin, Donald Driver and Willie McGinest - will be joining them this week. First, they'll be part of a football challenge in which a trainer and contestant from each team must catch footballs from the NFL legends - while tied together. And the stakes are high, because the winning team gets the coveted prize of video chats with loved ones. Later, the NFL players join the trainers in the gym and have fun putting their own spin on coaching the contestants. It's eight weeks in to the competition, and the remaining contestants have already lost almost 700 lbs. But this week it might prove harder to stay on course when a challenge involving giant treadmills over water gives the winning team the opportunity to assign penalties to the two losing teams. One team is tasked with cleaning duties that must be finished before they can access their trainer and the gym, while the other team is sent without their trainer to a city full of temptations - Las Vegas. Meanwhile, at Comeback Canyon, trainer Bob Harper tries to convince his two contestants to make their health a priority rather than always taking care of others first. Then the player who falls below the red line at the ranch weigh-in and feels unprepared to return home is thrilled to get a second chance at Comeback Canyon, while the weigh-in there sends another contestant home for good.

A challenge at the beginning of the week causes quite a splash as the red, white and blue teams have to hold a certain percentage of their body weight to keep their trainers from falling into a pool. The team that drops their trainer first loses them for the week, while the team that drops their trainer second will only have their trainer at the last chance workout. While the two teams without their trainers try to rise to the challenge at the ranch, Bob Harper tries to get his two eliminated contestants to work together as a team at Comeback Canyon. And one contestant takes a trip away from the ranch and gives her trainer a glimpse of her 'glory days.' Then a weigh-in full of surprises - including one player reaching 'One-derland' - ends with one contestant falling below the dreaded red line, but thrilled to get a second chance at Comeback Canyon.

Each player enters a tent filled with stadium food favorites, and has to decide whether to consume the high-calorie food and possibly win the coveted prize of immunity, or walk away from the temptation eating nothing. Later, one player opens up to his trainer about issues from childhood that have continue to take an emotional toll, while one of Bob's 'Comeback Canyon' contestants gives him a very special gift. All athletes dread the thought of being benched or sidelined from a game, and this week's challenge gives the winning team the power to sideline one player from an opposing team so their weight won't count at the weigh in. And the challenge comes with high anxiety as the players are suspended in the air racing to cross a canyon and put together a puzzle when they're done. Everyone has to step it up this week to avoid the dreaded red line elimination, because they won't know which player is chosen to sit out until they get to the scale. The stakes are higher than ever when the five final players compete in a 'Biggest Loser' first -- a sprint triathlon, requiring them to swim - a mile, bike 12 miles and run three miles. The triathlon winner will secure a coveted spot as a finalist, as well as a brand new Ford Fusion. Then it's an emotional trip down memory lane as the contestants watch footage of their journeys with their trainers, and see firsthand how far they've come since arriving on the ranch. Later, it's time for the last weigh-in before the finale, where two players will fall below the red line and go home, and two more will become finalists, joining the triathlon winner to compete for $250,000 and the title of 'The Biggest Loser' at the season 15 finale.

The contestants are off on the adventure of a lifetime, headed to Utah Olympic Park in Park City, Utah, where they'll train like champions and get to meet some incredible Olympic athletes. Dolvett introduces the players to Olympic gold medalist Apolo Ohno, who talks about his own 'Second Chance' - this season's theme - and works out with the contestants inside the spectacular Olympic Oval arena. Then the contestants get to compete in the sport of curling, after an introduction to USA Curling team members Jessica Schultz, Debbie McCormick and Anne Swisshelm. The fun continues at the base of the bobsled track, where words of motivation from USA Bobsled Team members Lolo Jones and Jazmine Fenlator get the remaining seven players fired up about the fast-paced sport. But for this week's challenge, they won't be racing down the track. Instead, they will be running more than a mile up the bobsled track, a challenge made far more difficult by the elevation of over 7,000 feet. Also this week, Bob designs an Olympic-inspired workout that puts all the players to the test, and Jillian tries to help a contestant still struggling to embrace her self-worth. Travelling and being away from the ranch environment leaves many contestants worried about their weight loss this week. Those fears intensify at the weigh-in, where surprising results push two players below the yellow line and the other contestants must decide which player is going home.

The 10 remaining contestants reach a milestone this week, as the competition goes from teams to singles. Wearing their new individual color shirts, the players meet host Alison Sweeney for a night-time 'ring of fire' endurance challenge that involves holding a percentage of their individual weights. Alison also shares exciting news about an upcoming event that will be a 'Biggest Loser' first for contestants, and sobering news that this week's weigh-in will end with a double elimination. Now that the teams have been disbanded, trainers Bob, Jillian and Dolvett are eager to switch it up and work out with new contestants this week. One player struggles with self-sabotaging negative thoughts, and two contestants make it to the coveted 'One-derland' at weigh-in and say goodbye to weighing over 200 pounds. This week, the contestants take a pop quiz about obesity in the workplace after meeting host Alison Sweeney in a diner. The location proves significant since that's where the losing team will be working all week while still trying to eat healthy and exercise with much busier schedules. While the losing team stays busy waitressing, cleaning up, doing dishes and squeezing in workouts, they still find time to bring 'treats' from their day job back to the ranch to tempt other players. Meanwhile, one trainer works closely with his contestant to determine what has been holding him back from bigger weight loss numbers, and another tries to help one player's family member get started on the path to a healthier lifestyle. Then it's time for another contestant to head home after a weigh-in that yields surprising results. .

Host Alison Sweeney kicks off this week's episode with a shocker - one of the contestants is going home and taking their trainer with them, and their weight will be the only weight that counts for their team when they return in time for the weigh-in. A simple spin of the wheel determine who will be chosen among the players, who would love to reunite with loved ones but are understandably anxious about the intense pressure they'll face trying to lose enough weight to keep their whole team safe another week. Meanwhile, one trainer brings their contestant back to a sport they once loved, and two players celebrate milestones at the weigh-in before another contestant is sent home.

Emotional reunions follow, as the winning team, their trainer and their family members gather for a Thanksgiving feast and share what they are most grateful for. Also, one player gets encouragement from his trainer to talk to his family about a long-kept secret, and the show catches up with one of season 14's child ambassadors, Sunny, to see how she is doing today. ASON 15 - 'The Biggest Loser' returns with 15 inspiring contestants - including the show's first celebrity player, Ruben Studdard, an uplifting 'Second Chances' theme and powerful new roles for trainers Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels and Dolvett Quince. Contestants eager for a second chance to reclaim their health and re-write their futures include 'American Idol' winner Ruben Studdard, this season's heaviest contestant at 462 pounds, David Brown, who lost his first wife to an almost decade-long battle with cancer and is now fighting for his life so he can be there for his daughters, and Tanya Winfield, a single mom addicted to food who grew up with a teenage mom addicted to drugs, who is eager to break the cycle of addiction in her family. Also competing this season will be Olympic weight lifter Holley Mangold, hoping to get in the best shape possible for a second chance at gold in the 2016 Olympics, and Matt Hooper, who postponed his wedding to be on the show so he could give his fiancé the best physical version of himself.

It's 'Face Your Fears' week, and the fear of leaving the ranch is the first one addressed when a 'save your neighbor' challenge determines which contestant has to leave the ranch and go out on their own for the week - along with another player of their choice. One by one, with the help of trainers Bob, Jillian and Dolvett, each contestant is forced to face their fear - ranging from a fear of sharks to claustrophobia to a fear of singing in public. And they all face fear in a harrowing challenge off the top of a seven-story building that will reward the winner with the most coveted prize of all. Back at home, the kid participants are also facing their fears head on. Sunny's very real fear of losing her Mom due to her mother's weight prompts her to have a very difficult and emotional conversation, while Dolvett arranges for pre-diabetic Lindsay to face her fear of developing the disease by meeting someone with diabetes and learning about their daily challenges. On the lighter side, Biingo faces his fear of eating vegetables! Later, the weigh-in will reveal how the two players out on their own did this week, and will also determine who is leaving the ranch for good, leaving the final five contestants of the season.

With this week's theme of 'Leading by example,' trainers Bob, Jillian and Dolvett skype with kid participants Biingo, Sunny and Lindsay, and motivate each one to do just that. While Sunny creates a circuit training routine for her fellow classmates, Biingo tries to recruit more friends to his after-school sports club. Lindsay gives an anti-bullying speech to her peers, joined by special guest Cody Simpson, who also talks about his experience being teased before performing for the kids. The adult contestants compete in a crazy challenge requiring them to avoid three swinging pendulums while walking on a balance beam to retrieve calorie-coded plates matching five specific dishes. In a season unlike any other, NBC's 'The Biggest Loser' takes on child obesity by featuring kid participants for the first time ever on the show, joining 15 fiercely determined adults eager to lose weight and change their lives forever. The focus for the three kids - 13-year-old baseball enthusiast Biingo, 16-year-old honors student Sunny, and 13-year-old former cheerleader Lindsay -- will be on getting healthy rather than numbers on a scale, so they will not be eligible for elimination and will not weigh in on camera. They will work at both the ranch and at home, and their progress will be featured in every episode. New mother Jillian Michaels is also back, ready to whip contestants into shape with her tough-as-nails, no nonsense approach, alongside returning trainers and top fitness experts Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince. Contestants include a high school special education assistant and mother of four, a former college football player and the show's first openly gay contestant, who was bullied for both his weight and his sexuality when he came out at age 14.

This week, a surprising turn of events shakes up the competition, and the contestants compete in a rough and wild short version of a 'Tough Mudder' competition. But they won't be doing it alone - with them will be the show's three most recent winners John Rhode, Olivia Ward and Patrick House. Host Alison Sweeney helps motivate the remaining contestants by telling them the player with the highest percentage of weight loss at the weigh-in will win a Ford Escape SUV. Later, the players stroll down memory lane with the trainers and watch video journeys of how far they've really come from their first day on the ranch before an emotional weigh-in determines which player will walk away with a brand new car.

In part two of the series' biggest makeover episode yet, the six remaining contestants get to meet First Lady Michelle Obama, whose Let's Move! initiative focuses on solving the problem of childhood obesity. Then it's time for a workout they'll never forget as trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince lead the First Lady, the contestants and their families through 'The Biggest Loser's' first ever White House workout. Mrs. Obama also challenges the contestants with a competition to get more Americans healthy and active. Later, Bob tries to help a player who turns to food for comfort to deal with the stress of worrying about a loved one at home, and Dolvett puts contestants through a scenic last chance workout in front of the U.S. Capitol at the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial. Then their amazing trip to D.C. is over and they return to the ranch to weigh-in before another player is sent home.

For Halloween, the contestants face a crazy candy temptation and a very spooky challenge, while host Alison Sweeney and trainers Bob Harper, Anna Kournikova and Dolvett Quince get in the spirit by dressing up in Halloween costumes. This week's challenge finds players racing through a haunted maze trying to collect as many apples as possible, with another weigh-in advantage - and disadvantage - hanging over them. With the trainers working out all of the players this week, one contestant has separation anxiety, and one trainer is not amused when the contestants play a Halloween trick on him.
