Led by intrepid world adventurer Josh Gates, each episode of Destination Truth takes viewers on a trek across the globe as Josh investigates stories of the unexplained. Accompanied by his small crew, Josh dives into the local cultures and searches for clues to the existence of strange creatures and paranormal phenomena.
In one of their most hair-raising experiences to date, Josh and team travel to Romania to investigate paranormal activity in the Hoia Baciu woods. According to local authorities, the forest is home to numerous sightings of apparitions and fleeting beams of light. In addition, these experts have remained puzzled about the presence of a "crop circle" in the forest. In the second investigation, the team heads to the Yucatán to explore the myth of the Alux, a pygmy like creature reported by Maya people.
