Barry tries to find the words to convince Cicada to take the cure that Team Flash has developed. Joe and Cecile join forces to question Ambres, and Eobard warns Nora that a new timeline is coming.

With Barry out of contact in the Speed Force, XS witnesses Cicada kill Killer Frost and tries to travel back in time to stop the outcome... and a different teammate dies with her every attempt.

Sherloque uses a memory machine to try and revive Grace, and Nora ends up trapped in the girl's memories. Barry and Iris go in to save their daughter, and see her memories of a future Iris. Meanwhile, Ralph tricks Cisco into a night out.

When a new meta-tech villain--Silver Ghost--helps Jocelyn Jackam escape, Nora wonders if Jocelyn wants to reform as she claims. Meanwhile, Barry is forced to stay in the pipeline after a confrontation with Silver Ghost, and Cisco discovers a possible meta-human cure.

To defeat Cicada, Nora comes up with a plan to assemble the necessary components from discarded villain items in the past and hide them in the present. Barry travels back in time to recover the three components, and reluctantly takes Nora with him.

Caitlin is reunited with her long-lost father, but Cisco suspects that not everything is at it seems. Ralph teams up with Cecile to learn who was injured the night of the Enlightenment by the satellite crash, and Iris, Nora, and Sherloque try to track down the core piece of the satellite.

Nora reveals what Iris did to her in the future that causes her to be so hostile to her in the present. Ralph and Sherloque try to trace Cicada, and Team Flash faces someone with the ability to control minds.

The team take on a new meta with the ability to create blocks out of concentrated air. Meanwhile, Danielle realizes that she's losing her powers, Barry tries to deal with an overeager Nora, Cisco deals with the loss of Gypsy, and Caitlin wonders whether to track down her father.

With Marlize's help, Barry tries to make a last-ditch attempt to reach the good DeVoe inside of the Thinker... and meets an old friend.

When they need an organic weapon to use against Thinker, Team Flash turns to Amunet... but Caitlin has an ulterior motive. Meanwhile, Cisco forms a 'Council of Harrisons' after the Council of Wells kicks Harry out of the group.

While Harry discovers the results of the Thinking Cap overload on his mind, the rest of the team call on a former ally to help them transport Fallout away from Thinker.

The Mechanic discovers what Thinker has been doing to her, and Breacher comes asking Cisco for help. Meanwhile, Team Flash goes after Subject 11, who can control gravity, and Barry questions if Ralph takes anything seriously.

A terrorist detonates a nuclear bomb, and Flash must race between microseconds to try and stop it. Jesse and Jay lend their speed to his efforts, but even the three of them aren't fast enough to stop a nuclear explosion that has already happened.

When Wolfe offers Barry and the bus metas to Blacksmith, Barry engineers an escape for all of them. Meanwhile, Ralph has a crisis of faith when an old 'friend' tells him that he eventually fails everyone who counts on him.

While Barry sits in prison, Ralph faces his first major supervillain and is injured for the first time. He has second thoughts about being a hero, and turns to Barry for advice.

Iris has to choose between her husband and her friend when Amunet abducts Caitlin while Thinker captures Flash. Meanwhile, Caitlin meets a new metahuman, and Thinker unveils the next stage of his plan.

Barry risks his career and his team trying to confirm that Clifford DeVoe is their unseen adversary. Meanwhile, the origin of the Thinker is revealed.

The guys and girls throw separate parties for Barry and Iris. While Barry gets drunk with some help from Cisco and Ralph takes them to a strip club, the ladies get involved with Killer Frost when her former boss, Amunet, demands that Killer Frost return to work for her.

The team goes up against the second of the Thinker's metas: Becky Sharpe, aka Hazard, who can gain good luck for herself as long as everyone else suffers. Meanwhile, Cecile suggests to Joe that they buy a new house, and Iris tries to plan the wedding.

Cisco comes up with a way to bring Barry back from the Speed Force when a new villain challenges Flash to a fight. However, Barry is... different than when he went in.

With 24 hours left to save Iris, Barry recruits Len Snart from the past to steal a Dominator power cell from ARGUS. Meanwhile, Joe and Kid Flash take Iris somewhere that Savitar can't find her, and Killer Frost calls Vibe out to kill him... and the last vestiges of her old self.

The team finds Tracy Brand, the woman that Future-Barry said would be able to imprison Savitar four years in the future. However, Savitar intends to kill Tracy and is using Killer Frost to do so. Meanwhile, Cecile tells Joe that she loves him and he freezes up.

A new villain, Abra Kadabra, seeking out high-tech items. When Flash captures him, Abra offers the speedster Savitar's name if Flash lets him go. Meanwhile, Julian is forced to operate on a badly injured Caitlin.

Barry enters the Speed Force to rescue Wally, and meets some familiar faces. Meanwhile, Jesse ignores H.R.'s advice and sets out to find and defeat Savitar on her own.

Barry considers killing Grodd to stop him, but Harry convinces him that there's always another way. Meanwhile, Jesse tells her father that she's staying on Earth-1 and is surprised at his reaction.

A new metahuman, Clive Yorkin, goes after the alternates of the people that wronged him in Flashpoint by turning them into ash. Meanwhile, Iris and Barry finally tell Joe about what Barry saw in the future.

Barry finally tells Iris and the others--except Joe--what he saw in the future and together they set out to stop that future from coming to pass. Meanwhile, Caitlin invites Julian to join Team Flash, and H.R. prepares to open the museum.

The alien Dominators land on Earth, and Barry realizes that he can't fight them alone. He summons Green Arrow and his teammates, and then the Legends, and then Supergirl from her Earth. However, the discovery of future-Barry's message forces Barry to reveal that he may have altered all of their lives when he changed the timeline, sowing the seeds of mistrust.

While Barry tries to deal with a new metahuman, Shade, Alchemy tries to convince Wally to join him and gain the powers that he had in Flashpoint.

Taking the name of Jesse Quick and donning a mask, Jesse offers to help Barry against two metas, Mirror Master and Top. However, her inexperience puts her in danger and gets Flash trapped in a mirror. Meanwhile, Harry, Cisco, and Caitlin search the other Earths for a replacement for a Harry.

Barry discovers that he didn't restore the timeline as it originally was, and tries to reconcile the difference. Meanwhile, the Edward Clariss of the new timeline teams up with a new villain to bring Flash down.

The team discovers what Zoom is up to, and why he wants Barry to race him. When they realize that Barry is out of control after the death of someone close to him, they lock Barry up for his own safety rather than let him participate in a race he can't win.

While Barry is trapped in the Speed Force, his friends desperately try to bring him home... only to discover that he may not want to leave. Meanwhile, the particle experiment reanimates one of the team's old foes, who is obsessed with finding Iris.

Barry tries to cope with a life without superspeed, but finds himself forced to don the Flash suit when a metahuman abducts Harry believing that he's Harrison Wells. Meanwhile, Wally asks Joe to arrange a meeting for him with Flash, and Caitlin tries to escape her captivity.

When Barry reaches a dead end in going faster, he decides to travel into the past and trick Eobard Thawne--posing as Harrison Wells--into showing him how to go faster. However, something, in the timestream follows Barry back... and it's not friendly.

King Shark escapes from ARGUS captivity and makes his way to Central City to kill the Flash. However, the hero and his friends are preoccupied with the recent death of one of their own. Meanwhile, Wally resents Barry's presence in his family.

Barry and Cisco travel to Earth-2 with Harry to rescue his daughter, and discover a strange world where friends are enemies and enemies are even worse. Meanwhile, Caitlin help Jay regain his speed so that he can deal with a new metahuman menace, Geomancer.

Eobard Thawne--Reverse-Flash--kidnaps Dr. McGee and forces her to find a way to send him back to his own time. Flash and his friends discover that Reverse-Flash is from a timeline before he killed Barry's mother, and realize that they may have no choice but to send him back. Meanwhile, Harry and Cisco work to stabilize Cisco's vibe power, and Caitlin desperately tries to find a cure for Jay's illness.

Weather Wizard frees Captain Cold and Trickster from prison to help him get revenge on the Flash, but Cold has second thoughts. Meanwhile, iris tells Joe about the son he never knew he had, and Patty confronts the man who killed her father.

While Harrison tells the team that he's heading back to Earth 2 now that they've failed to stop Zoom, Grodd launches a new series of attacks in an attempt to gain the chemicals that he needs to augment his intelligence. Meanwhile, Barry deals with his loss of self-confidence after Zoom cripples him, and Iris calls in a familiar face to help.

Barry battles another breacher, Doctor Light... and discovers that she's Linda's evil counterpart. Meanwhile, the team deals with a new Harrison Wells in their midst, and Barry asks Patty out on a date.

Lisa Snart, aka Golden Glider, comes to the team for help when her brother Captain Cold is kidnapped. However, the Flash soon discovers that the villain is working for his father Lewis, who has some mysterious hold over him. Meanwhile, Caitlin and Jay work together to build a speed cannon so that Jay can return to Earth-2, and Joe tells Iris the truth about her mother.

Six months after the Flash and his friends stop the Singularity, Central City holds a rally in the speedster's honor. However, Barry doesn't want to go given the sacrifice that was made by the true hero. Meanwhile, a new metahuman, Atom Smasher, sets out to kill the Flash.

As Wells once again gets the upper hand on the S.T.A.R. Labs team, Barry realizes he needs to make a big move and reaches out to an old foe, Captain Cold, for help. Joe and Caitlin warn Barry that Cold can't be trusted. True to form, Cold has his own agenda that involves the meta-humans trapped in the containment cells. As things seem to be going from bad to worse, The Flash gets reinforcements - Arrow and Firestorm.

Barry, Caitlin, Cisco and Joe set a trap for Wells. Cisco uses himself as prey which puts him in grave danger. Meanwhile, Eddie makes a decision regarding Iris, which leaves Joe a bit unsettled.

Barry is surprised when Felicity Smoak arrives from Starling City along with her boyfriend, Ray Palmer, who flies in as the Atom. They've come to visit S.T.A.R. Labs as Ray needs help with his suit. Their timing turns out to be fortuitous because it's all hands on deck after a meta human named Brie Larvin unleashes hundreds of robotic bees to attack and kill her former co-workers, including Dr. Tina McGee. A group dinner with Barry, Felicity, Ray, Iris and Eddie turns into a disaster.

The Flash learns that Captain Cold and Heat Wave have returned to Central City. This time Snart has brought along his baby sister Lisa to help wreak havoc on the city.

After the nuclear explosion separates Ronnie and Dr. Stein, Barry and the team believe both men are safe. Caitlin is thrilled to have her fiancé back and prepares to resume their life together while Dr. Stein returns to his wife. However, when General Eiling targets Firestorm, Ronnie and Dr. Stein must decide if they are safer together or apart. Meanwhile, Mason Bridge tells Iris that there is something secretive going on at S.T.A.R. Labs and Dr. Stein gives Barry some important information about time travel.

Caitlin decides that she and Barry need to move on from Ronnie and Iris and find new loves so she takes him for a night out at the local karaoke bar. Caitlin doesn't have any luck making a love connection but Barry meets Linda Park, a sports reporter for the Central City Picture News, and asks her out on a date. When Barry tells Iris he has a date, Iris is surprised by her reaction. Meanwhile, Cisco considers Hartley's dangerous offer and the team searches for Shawna, a meta-human with teleportation powers, who just busted her boyfriend Clay out of Iron Heights. When Henry snoops around in an attempt to help Joe and Barry solve the crime, he ends up in the infirmary after getting roughed up by inmates.

Leonard Snart AKA Captain Cold returns to Central City with a new hotheaded partner in tow - Mick Rory AKA Heat Wave. The duo plan to steal a multi-million dollar painting, but Cold has another agenda while in town - to set a trap for The Flash. Snart and Mick kidnap someone close to The Flash and threaten to kill them unless The Flash shows up for a battle of fire and ice. Barry tells Joe he isn't sure he should take on Snart again after the casualties that happened the last time they fought. Meanwhile, Barry asks Dr. Wells, Caitlin and Cisco to help him double his training efforts so he's ready for the Reverse Flash when he returns to Central City. Iris deals with the aftermath of Barry's confession, and Cisco makes the CCPD a new shield.

Barry is thrilled when Oliver, Felicity and Diggle come to Central City to investigate a case involving a deadly boomerang. Excited about teaming up with his friend, Barry asks Oliver if he'd like to help him stop Ray Bivolo, the meta-human Barry is currently tracking. Bivolo causes people to lose control of their emotions and has been using that skill to rob banks. Unfortunately, the superhero partnership doesn't go as smoothly as Barry expected. When Oliver tells Barry he still has a lot to learn, Barry sets out to prove him wrong by attempting to stop Bivolo alone. However, when Bivolo infects Barry and sets him on a rage rampage, everyone is in danger, and the only one who can stop him is the Arrow. Meanwhile, Iris is furious when Eddie tries to get a task force to stop The Flash, Joe and Dr. Wells agree the Arrow is a bad influence on Barry, and Caitlin and Cisco deal with a new team in S.T.A.R. Labs.

The Flash faces a new meta-human named Tony, who can turn himself into girded steel at will. While Dr. Wells and Caitlin are concerned about Barry's safety, Cisco comes up with a plan to take Tony down. Meanwhile, Iris's blog on The Flash gets her into trouble, and Eddie witnesses Tony's abilities firsthand and begins to ask questions that Joe doesn't want answered. Joe asks Dr. Wells to help him solve Nora Allen's murder.

The Flash stops a robbery but the culprits get away after shooting a guard, and The Flash chooses to save the man instead of following the criminals. Joe shows Barry a book of suspects and Barry identifies Leonard Snart as the leader of the group. While investigating the case, Barry gets a surprise visit from an old friend - Felicity Smoak, who heard about his new abilities and came to check them out for herself. She joins him at S.T.A.R. Labs to help stop Snart after it's revealed that Snart his gotten his hands on a stolen 'cold gun,' which could kill The Flash. Dr. Wells is furious when he finds out that Cisco built the cold gun without telling anyone and now it's missing. Meanwhile, Iris is getting the silent treatment from Joe because of her relationship with Eddie. Finally, The Flash and Captain Cold have an epic confrontation.

Barry escorts Iris to a university gathering honoring scientist Simon Stagg. When six gunmen storm the event, Barry changes into The Flash and tries to stop them. While he does save a man’s life, he passes out before he can capture the robbers, which frustrates him. As Dr. Wells, Caitlin and Cisco scramble to find out what’s wrong with Barry, Joe comes down hard on Barry for taking the law into his own hands and risking his life. Barry realizes that it wasn’t six gunmen but a metahuman named Danton Black, who can make multiples of himself. Meanwhile, Iris becomes even more intrigued by the “red streak.”
