With the help of Tae Nam's testimony, the prosecutors regain the upper hand. On top of that, Bae Man and Woo In now see the situation as a chance to wipe out Patriotic Society once and for all. Meanwhile, Moon Goo's plans to become IM's owner fail when an unwelcome guest shows himself at the shareholders' meeting.

The court's ruling favoured Bae Man and Woo In, and it's inevitable that there will be internal conflicts within the Patriotic Society. As expected by Bae Man, he is contacted by Hong Moo Seob and retrieves crucial information that will possibly tear down the Patriotic Society. Meanwhile, for some reason, Woo In can no longer reach Kang Ha Joon, and at the same time, a horrifying event takes place at GOP 14.

Be Man finally confronts Hwa Young face-to-face, and at the same time, Woo In greets Moon Gu at one of the IM's offices. With their plans on the verge of being exposed, the two start gearing up for their next move. Woo In's words are not convincing enough to persuade Be Man to risk everything to help her. However, Woo In realizes that he will eventually return to her. Meanwhile, Woo In prepares for a military court case regarding No Tae Nam. The two seem to have gone their separate ways, but a scuffle with No Hwa Young brings back Be Man's forgotten memory from his tragic accident.
